We are working with a non-for-profit client, who has a great opportunity for an experienced all-rounder Work Health & Safety Advisor, based in the western suburbs.

You will be part of an organisation that contributes to the improvement of quality of lives, as well as enhancing their well-being and lifestyle throughout the community.

**Accountabilities**:

- Support and educate leaders, managers, workers, and H&S Representatives across all health and safety aspects.
- Ensure compliancy with WHS legislation related to work injuries & illnesses.
- Assess, monitor and review on an ongoing basis all WHS related matters.
- Execute WHS initiatives aligned with key performance indicators set by the organisation.
- General WHS operational support as required.
- Review and maintain WHS audit schedules, including reporting and assist with preparation and collation for ISO requirements.
- Provide ongoing training, support and communication across the organisation relating to WHS processes procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Support the implementation of health and wellbeing program.
- Promote the importance of WHS legislation with all employees.
- Ensure WHS systems, processes, policies and procedures are compliant, including participating and supporting WHS audits.
- Travel to operational sites.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualified in WHS or relevant discipline.
- Experience developing, implementing and executing WHS management systems.
- High level of communication, specifically creating and delivering internal presentations and training programs.
- Proven experience across WHS audits, investigations, analysis and evaluation techniques.
- Understanding alignment of business planning objectives with WHS function.
- Demonstrated exposure with Work Health & Safety, AS / ISO standards / compliance requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Current valid driver's licence.
- First Aid / CPR certificate.
- COVID-19 vaccination statement - 3 dose minimum.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
