An exciting and unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Policy, Communication and Coordination team as Coordination and Administration Officer to contribute to progressing the Victorian Government's nation leading work with First Peoples.
The responsibilities of the Policy, Communication and Coordination Branch include leading and facilitating a whole of government, coordinated, and focused approach on Aboriginal affairs to improve outcomes for First Peoples and supporting the Premier and the Minister for Treaty and First Peoples to deliver on cross-government responsibilities and commitments.
Please note an interest in policy impacting First Peoples, self-determination, truth and treaty processes in Victoria is desirable for this role.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level confidential administrative and coordination support to a senior manager or team with highly developed initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Demonstrated capacity for resilience and flexibility
