Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth & to continue our focus on excellence in all facets of operations, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our leadership team.

The Picking Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the Picking Supervisor with the management and implementation of the picking strategies in order to achieve budgeted production levels.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Undertake picking tasks to ensure target times are achieved
- Driving Tractor daily
- Prepare daily work order in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
- Prepare daily estimate in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
- Undertake stock control in the absence of the Picking Supervisor
- Provide support to Picking Supervisor and staff
- Manage training schedule of all new picking recruits
- Retrain staff as required if not performing tasks correctly
- Assist with the development of Picking Standard Operating Procedures
- Previous team management experience
- Results orientation
- Patience and diversity awareness
- Previous Machinery experience
- Planning & Organisational skills
- Ability to follow procedures & instructions
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Quality orientation
- Ability to differentiate between red, orange, yellow and green

This is a full-time, 38 hour a week position. Working a **four day week** from April - October. In our busy season the position will be on a **five day week **from November - March.
