Add expected salary to your profile for insights.d'Albora, Australia's largest Marina Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for the role of Boatyard Hand at Nelson Bay Boatyard.Perfectly positioned in the heart of the pretty coastal township of Nelson Bay, the Nelson Bay boatyard offers premium servicing ensuring the highest industry standards.This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities.Reporting to the Boatyard Operations Manager, your key tasks will include but are not limited to:Perform daily boatyard and detailing tasksEnsure timely retrieval and launch of vesselsPerform repairs and servicesMonitor and maintain stock levelsPrepare vessels for required maintenanceApply antifoul and other applicationsThe ideal candidate would have:Sound knowledge of vessel construction and maintenance practicesBasic maintenance skills and ability to use hand and power toolsDetailing experienceA forklift license & current boat license is preferred but not essentialReliability and punctualityAustralian residencyAwareness of workplace safety, health, quality, and environmental standardsExperience in boatyard work is preferred but not essentialThis is a casual opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals with a shared passion for boats and boating, in a dynamic business environment, with career advancement opportunities.If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
