d'Albora, Australia's largest Marina Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for the role of Boatyard Hand at Nelson Bay Boatyard.

Perfectly positioned in the heart of the pretty coastal township of Nelson Bay, the Nelson Bay boatyard offers premium servicing ensuring the highest industry standards.

This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities.

Reporting to the Boatyard Operations Manager, your key tasks will include but are not limited to:

1. Perform daily boatyard and detailing tasks
2. Ensure timely retrieval and launch of vessels
3. Perform repairs and services
4. Monitor and maintain stock levels
5. Prepare vessels for required maintenance
6. Apply antifoul and other applications

The ideal candidate would have:

• Sound knowledge of vessel construction and maintenance practices
• Basic maintenance skills and ability to use hand and power tools
• Detailing experience
• A forklift license & current boat license is preferred but not essential
• Reliability and punctuality
• Australian residency
• Awareness of workplace safety, health, quality, and environmental standards
• Experience in boatyard work is preferred but not essential
