
Accounting Firm Administrative Support Professional

This job opening is an exciting opportunity to support a respected accounting firm with their administrative tasks.
Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced professional to manage a range of administrative tasks, particularly those related to ATO communications, company statements, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for coordinating client files, submitting eStatements, and making confident follow-up calls with both clients and the ATO.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit eStatements through ATO systems (ASCE)
- Liaise with the ATO to arrange payment plans and follow up on queries
- Manage company statements and general compliance documentation
- Provide administrative support to accountants and partners
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and assist with client file management
- Maintain accuracy of documentation and client information
- Experience in a public practice accounting or tax firm
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills – especially over the phone
- Familiarity with ATO systems such as ASCE
- Ability to hit the ground running in a busy, professional office
