**The Centre**
Operating since 1984, this early learning and long day care centre in
**Mawson, Australian Capital Territory** offers their services to 46 places. The centre has been rated with an Exceeding the National Quality Standards, making the centre the best choice for children to kickstart their learning journey. Their unique bilingual program, with Mandarin as the secondary language, gives each child an extra edge in developing their motor skills, language, social, cognitive and self help skills. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, the centre's programs and activities are planned to bring out the child's fullest potential and nurture their holistic development. The management, educators, centre staff, and the local community work harmoniously to provide care and be an active agent in providing a warm and friendly learning environment.

**The Role**
- Help ensure that programs and activities meet the goals of the EYLF
- Assist in Managing children's records daily and assess their performance and development
- Promote the Mandarin language
- Comply with the Early Years Learning Framework and ensure NQS are met or exceeded
- Build strong relationship with the children, families, centre staff, and the local community
- Work with the Lead Educator ( Room Leader) to help in developing high quality learning activities for the children according to their age group
- Create a safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environment for all children

**Role Requirements**
- Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or currently working towards your qualification
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Card
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- have an understanding of contemporary child safe practices
- A demonstrated interest in children and their development
- Undergone accredited Child Protection Training
