Early Childhood Education and Care Leader

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Education and Care Leader to lead our team in providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading, guiding, and supporting a team that provides exceptional early childhood education and care.
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for children that align with our values and policies.
  • Developing strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, children, parents, and families.
  • Implementing and upholding the policies and associated procedures and practices of the organisation.
  • Working in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and applicable regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
Requirements:
  • A current Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) approved diploma level (or higher) early childhood education and care qualification.
  • A current First Aid Certificate - Child Care approved (HLTAID012 or HLTAID004) including current CPR certificate.
  • Cleared New South Wales Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Provide two recent work-based references.
  • 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE a minimum of 3 years full-time employment experience (or equivalent) as a childcare Group Leader, or similar role.
  • 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE an ACECQA Migrant Skills Assessment - or be willing to attain one.
  • 494 Visa applicants MUST HAVE Competent English Skills, meeting minimum standards of an IELTS band score of at least 6.0 in all four test components.
  • Australian Citizenship or Visa Eligibility, if required.
