About the role

Interested in guiding the development of a technology product or service and overseeing a team of technical designers, developers, testers, and deployers?

As our new Delivery Solution Lead you will be the primary contact that manages the delivery of Technology solutions consistent with established standards, practices, and templates, in support of the strategic direction of the RACQ Group.

The role is involved with identifying, acquiring and utilising the necessary Technology resources and skills to successfully deliver project Technology solutions within agreed parameters of cost, time, and scope (quality).
- Works with the assigned Project Manager, Business Owners, and Technology resources to define, estimate, plan, and deliver technical work packages that support successful project implementation, whilst ensuring the expectations of project and Technology stakeholders are fully met.
- Ensures regular and accurate communication to both project and Technology stakeholders, consistent with the methods used during the various phases of RACQs Solution Delivery Life Cycle Framework.
- Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure that Technology deliverables match project requirements and are produced in accordance with published timelines.
- Manages, controls, directs, and allocates the activities of RACQ Technology solutions delivery staff and external suppliers based on development priorities.
- Manages the engagement of technical suppliers to ensure delivered products and services meet contractual expectations.
- Manges the interdependencies between Technology delivery, operations, and business needs.
- Makes recommendations to the Manager Technology Portfolio in determining resources and skills required to effectively support the Technology solution development.
- Identifies, assesses, and manages risks and issues to the success of the project, escalating to the Project Manager and Manager Technology Portfolio when necessary.
- Ensures that RACQ repeatable and standardised procedures, practices, and tools are used in the delivery of solutions and services.
- Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

About you
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience working collaboratively with a Project Manager, and delivering a technology component of a larger initiative
- Previous experience delivering technology solutions in a large integrated environment
- Experience planning and co-ordinating technology resources balanced against operational needs
- Previous experience co-ordinating and delivering technology related work packages in an Waterfall/Agile/SDLC environment.
- Previous experience influencing virtual teams including 3rd parties and contractors.
- Formal study preferably in project management, Agile, or software development (e.g. PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum, SDLC).
- Experience using delivery tools such as Confluence and Jira
