The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experiencedProject Engineer - Civilto work on our upcoming [Battery Energy Storage System] (BESS) Project in Western Australia (WA).
This position is site-based FIFO/DIDO in Western Australia
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role focuses on projects with earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures.
The primary challenge is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements with the client.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision
Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, with equipment suppliers and subcontractors
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and the constructability of projects
Your skills and experience:
Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent
Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects
Valid Driver's License
Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
Strong communication skills (oral & written), including negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at various levels both internally and externally
