**About the Company**

This NSW government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 12 Month Contract, paying up to $780 P/D + Super. This role is located in Sydney CBD (hybrid).

**About the Role**

The Strategy Analyst sits within our Strategy & Innovation team and will be directly reporting into the Executive Manager of Freight. The role will undertake a range of data collection and interpretation activities, identifying areas for further research and analysis and effectively communicating outputs that identify meaningful business opportunities.

**Key accountabilities**
- Preparation of reporting insights through presenting results in a meaningful way to assist in the identification of new opportunities or areas in need of efficiency enhancements.
- Deliver and drive high-quality end-to-end analysis to support the decision-making process(es) that allows for effective management.
- Lead the preparation of reports that detail the impacts of changes to transport uses freight and data requirements within the business portfolio
- Build models that can demonstrate a variety of scenarios to further support the development of business cases.
- Communicate effectively across groups of different skill level and expertise to efficiently deliver the key messages.

**About You**
- High level of competence with Excel and ability to use VBA
- Strong Numerical and analytical skills with experience in extracting data from different databases and asset management systems
- Proven experience in data management and data insights and visualisation.
- Strong demonstrated skills in IT data collection and commercial analysis
- Qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
