Location: Barangaroo, New South Wales, AU

You'll be based at International Towers Barangaroo, one of Australia's most sustainable and award-winning workplaces, with the flexibility of 3 days in-office and 2 days working from home.

The Strategy Analyst supports the GrainCorp Strategy team in the analysis, development and delivery of strategy and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Strategy Managers, Head of Strategy and other business leaders to contribute to strategic workstreams or standalone projects
  • Preparation and delivery of "board-ready" presentations and reports to the Executive Leadership Team and Board with limited supervision
  • Developing effective and constructive relationships across all levels of GrainCorp, gaining trust across the business as a capable and safe pair of hands
Your experience

Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with natural curiosity and the confidence to develop and test their ideas, and to challenge the status quo. You're a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and have outstanding communication skills for a wide/diverse audience and across mediums. Additionally, you'll have:

  • Previous experience gained in advisory, management consulting or in-house strategy setting
  • The ability to see beyond the ask; to truly understand the problem/challenge at hand and complete the required high-quality analysis to solve it
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with high proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional modelling skills
  • Self-motivated and curious, always seeking out opportunities to learn and dig beyond the obvious to challenge the status quo
