**Your day to day**
As Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to create the F&B vision and support the Venue Managers in the execution and delivery with a focus on ensuring food and beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals are met. You'll also ensure the food & beverage department adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. You will focus on: -Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends and developments with respect to Food and Beverage operations ensuring that our outlets keep pace with market developments whilst maintaining and enhancing its reputation for classic service styles. - Monitor and be aware of competitors Food & Beverage operations making on-going recommendations to the Director of Food and Beverage as to how to potentially develop the operation for the good of the business and the guest. - Demonstrate a good level of financial awareness; to understand the composition and implications of key performance ratios to interpret the significance of average spends and how to influence them; to be able to analyse the departmental, division and hotel profit and loss; and to be able to positively influence the department, division, and hotel results. - You will supervise a large number of team members in one or two food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and may include banquet facilities that cater to 1200 people or less and may oversee one or more subordinate managers or supervisors.
**What we need from you**
- Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management - 2 years of related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field preferred - Must speak local language - Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local law
