As a world leading library, the National Library of Australia offers an innovative and collaborative workplace where exceptional team players and technical specialists can flourish. As part of the Library's team, you will help support organisational reform, working collaboratively with your team to shape the Library's future.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated library professional to manage a team describing published material including books, journals, music and maps. You will provide advice on a range of complex issues, contributing to the design and development of description and processing solutions.

The role encompasses working closely with a range of internal stakeholders, including Collection Care, Collection Retrieval & Delivery and Indigenous Engagement to facilitate access to collection material by supporting those delivering access services.

We are seeking someone who will deliver high quality outcomes through:

- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
