As a Senior Origination Strategist, you will lead the origination and execution of tailored energy contracts across a diverse range of buyers including corporates, retailers, and aggregators.
You will identify, build, and maintain deep relationships with senior leaders across large energy users, electricity retailers, and intermediaries to create a strong, high-conviction pipeline of opportunities.
The role requires collaboration cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across Project Development, Investment, Legal, Technical, and Energy Markets to align on deal parameters and risk positions.
You will develop and maintain a national buyer network to support project commercialisation and market expansion.
In addition, you will monitor energy market trends, regulatory developments, and customer demand to refine origination strategy and commercial offerings.
Required skills and qualifications:
8+ years of experience in energy contract origination, corporate PPA negotiation, or structured energy product sales.
Demonstrated track record of closing complex commercial energy transactions with large buyers or retailers.
Proven ability to develop and maintain deep, senior-level relationships across the Australian energy landscape.
