**The Opportunity**
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure smooth running of the Veris Canberra office. As Office Manager you're responsible for coordination across support office to ensure a safe, efficient and productive place to work. This would involve effective, timely and efficient administrative support services for the office including but not limited to such as reception, record-keeping, mail distribution, and other administrative tasks as required.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate training, seminar and conference bookings
- Coordinate building and office equipment maintenance
- Coordinate client and staff functions/events
- Perform a variety of administration tasks including generating purchase orders, receipting invoices and other systems duties as directed
- Oversee monthly credit card reconciliations
- Conduct new staff inductions and provide administrative support to People and Culture and HSEQ as required
- Coordinate freight and couriers as required
- Coordinate ordering and distributing PPE, survey supplies and equipment as directed.
- Implement and monitor office emergency procedure, coordinate warden meetings and drills.
- Support the Leadership team as required
**About You**
- 2+ years' experience in an office management position
- 2+ experience working with accounting software including data entry
- Intermediate skill level across the MS Office suite including, Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to maintain accurate record keeping and timely processing of records
- Well-developed organisation and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent team playing skills and pro-active attitude
