Overview
Community Wellbeing Collective (CWC) is a multi-cultural inter-generational, working-class socially engaged art collective with over 30 members.
We believe Wellbeing is Political and work to bring people together to discuss and address issues affecting wellbeing.
We run our own space with a full program of activities alongside external partners and tackle themes such as housing, disability, suicide, racism, policing, healthcare, and more.
We aim to remove barriers to better wellbeing, strengthen community, and drive change in Wester Hailes and beyond.
We are a charity that operates similarly to a cooperative, working together to create the change we want to see and raise funds to support our work.
We seek to create a structure that allows local and wider participation.
Role
Wellbeing Collective Lead — contribute to the collective by:
Leading on safeguarding and collective care.
Developing and updating protocols and policies.
Supporting the development of collective members.
Guiding Lead roles in collective decision-making.
Communicating identified needs and proposing solutions.
Explaining how the CWC's practice sits within politics, social change, and the art world.
Details
Location: On-site in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh.
Working pattern: Some hours designated on Wednesdays.
Pay: £12.60 per hour, 10 hours per week (approximately £504 per month).
Deadline: 23 September 2025 at 23:55.
Interview: Thursday 2 October.
