Proactive Services Team Lead

This role is part of the Proactive Services team, responsible for ensuring trolleys are available and stores are in pristine condition.

As a team lead, you will work alongside your team to deliver trolley collection and cleaning services to a set store.

The role involves:

  • Coaching and mentoring your team members to develop their skills in trolley collection, cleaning, and waste support
  • Managing the team's roster to ensure coverage of daily tasks and operations
  • Communicating with Store Leadership to understand challenges and areas of opportunity
  • Interacting with customers, including providing assistance and resolving issues
  • Collaborating between Support Office, Store Leadership Teams, team members, and customers, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various environments, including shop floors, fridges, freezers, carparks, and outdoors.

You must be comfortable with these aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate has some form of supervisory or team leader experience, but if you're an aspiring team leader, we encourage you to apply.

The role offers direct support from your Group Manager to help develop leadership skills.

Key attributes for success include:

  • A keen eye for cleanliness and attention to small details
  • Confidence to engage and partner with other Department Managers, Store Leadership, Group and Zone Services Managers
  • Organisational skills to ensure equipment and consumables are available for safe and efficient work
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including early starts, late starts, and weekend shifts
  • Comfortable working with regulated frameworks, such as Food Safety and industrial regulations
  • A valid Driver's License is helpful (although not a prerequisite)

This full-time salaried role requires flexible availability to work across early mornings, days, and late nights, Monday to Sunday.
