Position at DNEGWorking closely with our Head of Animation, Animation Supervisors, and fellow Animators, you will be responsible for creating believable animation with convincing performances and motion.
You will have the ability to complete digi-double, creature, character, or rigid body animation.
Delivering work to strict deadlines, you will be aware of project schedules and work hard to achieve these goals, producing content within the framework of the DNEG pipeline.Senior AnimatorMust Have6+ years CG animation experience within high-end live action VFX feature filmsAbility to perform visual and analytical problem solving in 3-dimensional space, including accurately interpreting 3D layouts and analyzing 3D formThorough knowledge of MayaProven experience troubleshooting and predicting potential problems with assigned tasks and issues from other departmentsAbility to support Leads and SupervisorsExperience mentoring junior artistsProven experience proactively finding creative solutions within shot constraintsAbility to contribute to pipeline improvements and team methodologiesShowreel showcasing a variety of high-end live action VFX animation work, including hero creatures, digi-doubles, and detailed performances with flying, bipedal, vehicle, and motion captureNice to HaveExperience with realistic and stylized facial animationTool development using Python or MELExperience shooting Mocap material with Moven Mocap suitAbout YouStrong understanding of animation principlesAbility to work well in a team environmentAttention to detail and passion for animationOpen, communicative, eager to learn, and team-orientedPositive, proactive attitudeContract: 2 years.
