**The Role**

The role of the Drafting Information Specialist provides administrative and technical expertise in information management with a focus on **drawing management**.

This role sits within the Generation Information Management (Gen IM) team and closely **supports** the **Engineering and Digital / Drafting team** in the ongoing development and improvement of information systems integrity, processes, and automation.

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Key role for administering drafting requests via centralised helpdesk for Generation & Development
- Prioritise and respond to IM / drafting helpdesk requests within expected time frames.
- Manage the information life cycle for controlled document processes on project, asset, technical and operational drawings
- Troubleshoot, resolve and/or escalate system and user incidents and issues to ensure optimum system performance and realize ongoing improvement opportunities.
- Oversee training and awareness of Drawing processes and the development of supporting training materials
- Champion and assist in the management of drawing process and systems, including related guidelines and procedures, upgrades and continual improvement initiatives

**About you**
- Experience in document control processes and the use of document management systems, business processes and supporting systems
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a broad range of people across the organisation and build positive work relationships
- High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and external parties as required.
- Ability to prioritise requests and coordinate workload in a team
- Knowledge of drawing management products and services (eg AutodeskVault, AutoCAD, Blue Beam) desirable
