Senior Piping Design Specialist

This is a permanent or contract basis position that offers a flexible and supportive team environment. The role involves delivering piping design and drafting services to meet project requirements on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have experience in oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, and other heavy industries. They will be skilled in 2D AutoCAD and Plant 3D, with a minimum of 10 years design drafting experience. A strong knowledge of industry design standards and practices is also essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering piping design and drafting services that meet Verbrec's, customer's, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Developing 2D/3D piping models and layouts.
  • Performing design and drafting assignments that meet project requirements on time and within budget.
  • Providing technical support and assistance within the Design Team and liaising with engineering teams.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years design drafting experience.
  • Associate Diploma in engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of industry design standards and practices.
