SGS is looking for Water Quality Analysts, responsible for the organisation and completion of required field work in the Pilbara region and surrounding areas.

This is a FIFO role on an 8/6 roster, Thursday to Thursday to Newman.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Collect water samples according to Australian Standards, including Potable Water, Waste Water, Sewage Water, Soil and Hygiene, for testing against regulatory guidelines such as the Australian Drinking Water Guideline.
- Perform field tests to ensure results are within water quality acceptance criteria, and to report anomalies immediately to the Project Coordinator/Client as directed.
- Prepare daily field reports and ensure they are submitted within 24hours of sampling.
- Arrange all field consumables, sampling media and equipment as required for each job.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis' (JSA's) and risk assessments as required for each allocated job.

**Qualifications**
- Degree Qualifications in Chemistry, Environmental Science or other relevant fields.
- Demonstrable technical skills within the mining sector with previous experience as a Field Sampling Technician.
- Previous experience in customer service and liaising with clients.
- C class manual licence
- 4WD training
- Senior First Aid
- Availability for a FIFO role and Thursday to Thursday roster.
