What you'll be doing

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of water‑quality risk assessments, management plans and incident responses - scoping, budgeting, scheduling and quality‑assurance.
  • Provide senior technical oversight on microbiological, chemical and radiological hazards, recycled‑water schemes, cooling‑tower management and medical‑water systems.
  • Act as primary client interface - facilitating workshops, presenting to regulators and guiding approvals in complex water industry settings.
  • Drive commercial growth through proposals, tenders and account‑expansion opportunities.
  • Mentor junior consultants and champion a proactive safety culture.

About you

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' hands‑on water‑quality/water‑treatment experience and deep knowledge of Australian/NZ and international standards (AS/NZS 3666, ADWG, ISO 9001/14001, etc.).
  • Proven project‑management knowledge specifically project performance and reporting.
  • Influential communicator comfortable with executives, regulators and site operators.
  • Commercial acumen covering pricing, profitability and bid strategy.
