Procurement Leader Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will lead category strategies across Directs portfolio, managing supplier performance, reducing costs, and driving innovation through the supply base.
This is a strategic role focused on planning, risk mitigation, and commercial outcomes. You will partner with stakeholders across the business and be central to product development and supply continuity.
Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies to ensure competitive costs and reliable supply;
Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, with a focus on risk reduction and long-term partnerships;
Actively manage supplier performance to meet business KPIs;
Deliver commercial outcomes through cost savings, process efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
Key Requirements:
Degree-qualified (Business, Engineering, Science, or related);
3–5 years in procurement, ideally with exposure to chemicals or manufacturing;
Strong experience sourcing packaging or direct materials;
Commercially sharp with proven contract negotiation skills;
Ability to manage complex stakeholders and influence outcomes across a business;
SAP ERP exposure a bonus.
