What you'll be working onThe Operations Supervisor - Taxi Truck involves supervising the daily running of the Sameday Taxi Truck division including managing a fleet of trucks and staff members, adhering to regulatory & compliance requirements, and meeting the customer delivery requirementsto make every customer experience outstanding.Manage the daily running of the Taxi Truck divisionAllocate, and monitor truck jobs and management of drivers and customersAssist the Time Critical operations team to achieve an efficient, timely and cost-effective modelSafely manage the Taxi Truck division with full compliance to WHS, COR, NHVR and FedEx policy and proceduresEffectively use of all resources to achieve continuous business improvement, while maintaining customer serviceEnsure Taxi Truck allocation in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with customer needs, within compliance requirementsReview driver current jobs to ensure timely delivery windows are metProvide working knowledge of General Carriers contract determinationEnsure the scanning and recording of all Proof of Deliveries to assist with collation of data for recording and achieving KPI's (Service Quality)Communicate with other FedEx teams, creating an open transparent communication channel with all you deal with, while maintaining integrityComplete training on internal procedures, scanning and compliance requirementsEnsure 100% compliance with scanning and Proof of Delivery on all consignmentsDeliver prompt resolution of customer service enquiriesIdentify and act upon any opportunity for cost reductionPost Code: 2019 BotanyWhat you'll bring to the teamAbility to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environmentSystematic and professional approach to "best practice" policies, work processes and proceduresAbility to communicate with impact and build first class relationshipsIntegrity in actions and facilitates clear and honest two-way communication through an open management style.Basic knowledge of the Transport/Local Courier industryStrong written and oral skills, including well developed persuasive abilityAbility to build strong relationships with both internal and external customersUnderstanding of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue managementFedEx was built on a philosophy that puts people first, one we take seriously.
