**Role summary**

The Payroll Client Operations Specialist is responsible in ensuring Payroll services are delivered according to all aspects of the contract in terms of timeliness, quality and in line with the agreed service levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains operational proficiencies of an account(s) by managing the delivery of support services and operational requirements of the client as outlined in assigned contract
- Be seen as a Payroll expert for Australia and New Zealand within the wider APACX and Global Payroll teams, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
- Provides operational and service level data to the client as requested to build confidence and credibility in the services being provided.
- Assesses impact (including mitigation of risk) for local change requests for accounts within direct control
- Works closely with Service Delivery Director and regional SME to represent operations towards the client
- People Management & Leadership - passion for people development and will be expected to build and lead high performance work teams

**Position Requirements**:

- At least 10 years operations management in BPO set up managing HR Payroll Services or HR Employee Services (or equivalent experience)
- Must have knowledge in SAP and payroll system technology.
- Experience in handling payroll services or employee services from Australia and New Zealand payroll.
- Expert in Australian payroll, able to guide clients as needed
- Excellent client relationship capability and proven experience managing accounts
