As a Claims Specialist you'll manage end-to-end claims across our client's tax audit portfolios, ensuring top-tier service, technical accuracy, and compliance.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the group COO and be supported by a Claims Assistant, making a real impact in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:Handle end-to-end Tax Audit claims management
Ensure timely, high-quality claim responses aligned with company standards and the General Insurance Code of Practice
Liaise with stakeholders including insurers, claimants, and service providers
Accurately record and manage case notes and claims system data
Authorise settlements, manage payments, and issue invoices
Deliver outstanding customer service with empathy and clarity
Assist with investigations, process improvements, and operational support
You will need:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience handling Tax Audit Claims or Financial Lines Claims
Deep knowledge of Australian General Insurance products and claims processes
Tax Agent or accounting background / ATO experience highly regarded
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build rapport
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with solid time management skills
Comfortable using MS Office – especially Excel
