About the Role

KPMG Law's national Tax Dispute Resolution and Controversy specialists have extensive experience assisting organisations in preparing for, managing and resolving tax disputes. Our busy team is looking for lawyers with expertise in tax law and tax litigation.

Our team of leading experts in this field are recognised in the legal 500 and International Tax Review. This role offers flexibility through KPMG's market leading leave and flexible/hybrid working models.

Your Opportunity

You will be a key part of our growing team advising clients on domestic and cross-border tax issues. The role involves:

  • Preparing clients for and resolving their risk reviews, audits and disputes with revenue authorities, including complex ATO audits and tax litigation.
  • Developing written and oral advocacy skills and providing legal advice, including taxation law and administrative law.
  • Collaborating with specialist groups across KPMG's Deals, Tax & Legal practice in Australia and internationally.

Requirements

You must have a proven track record of success in corporate tax, international tax, tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy. You should be able to deliver fully integrated solutions and make decisions to best meet client needs. Your qualifications and skills may include:

  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and quality services delivery.

Qualifications

You must have a Law Degree to be eligible for this role.
