**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Divisional Outbound Transport Specialist to join our team, based out of our brand-new Wacol Trade & Fulfilment Centre.

Reporting to the Divisional Outbound Transport Manager for the North Division, you will provide last mile transport support across our Wacol Trade & Fulfilment Centre and the broader division as required. You will assist with compliance for transport in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements, site safety, incident reporting and working through operational transport on site.

**What's Involved**:

- Support the site team and compliance team with transport requirements, driver and carrier site inductions, CoR compliance, incident reporting and maintaining accurate records
- Monitor carrier performance on site, monitoring, addressing and escalating any last mile delivery issues as required
- Identify opportunities on site regarding outbound loading efficiencies and work with site teams and carriers to implement any new initiatives
- Identify and minimise excess transport expenses, monitoring carrier usage and rates, including reconciliation of invoices

**Who we are looking for**

You will be a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background or understanding across transport coordination or logistics. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

**You'll need**:

- Proven experience in Last Mile Transport, Retail or Warehousing experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing key suppliers especially those related to Transportation and/or Supply Chain is preferred
- Experience across B2B & B2C customer deliveries.
- Good understanding of last mile transport operations
- Proficiency in using transport management systems and booking portals
- Well-developed stakeholder management skills
