**About the Role**:
As part of the Network Control and Operations management team, the role will lead the proactive and reactive management of faults in the CitiPower and Powercor distribution networks.
The role is responsible for managing service levels and collaborating within the Network Control & Operations, Field Services and Electricity Networks teams to uplift performance of faults and network resilience.
- This position can be based in any Powercor depot, such as, Melbourne, Burnley, Brooklyn, Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool.
- Occasional travel is required throughout Melbourne's western suburbs and regional Victoria.
- This role comes with a part-private use vehicle.
**What you'll deliver**:
- Develop and implement the CitiPower and Powercor fault response, reliability improvement and operational resilience strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement, by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Lead the response to network escalations and emergencies.
- Manage and govern finances.
- Enable and encourage others to participate in decision making whilst considering broader business agenda and objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry changes and create strategies to ensure the relevance of the business in a dynamically changing market.
- Communicate and impart strategies and complex ideas to all levels (from Executive Management to team member).
- Develop and maintain the Faults Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Control & Operations, Field Services and Electricity Networks.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities and negotiate changes to the SLA.
- Successfully develop and embed fit for purpose capabilities, processes or process improvements that meet the agility needed for the business to be competitive.
**To succeed in the role, you'll have**:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, management, ESI Power Systems or demonstrated experience in a similar type role.
- Previous experience managing an end-to-end services performance function (including but not limited to contracts management, quality management, business strategy and improvement).
- Extensive experience in identifying, planning, and innovating business models as well as developing new channels, business models or business transformation.
- Strong analytical, reporting, business writing and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of the regulatory drivers, business targets and the key interfaces that impact upon the operation of CitiPower and Powercor.
- Proven experience managing a technical workforce.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and project management principles.
