**About Competency Training**
Competency Training (RTO#31299) is an industry leading training brand, owned by Verbrec; with training facilities across Australia). We deliver publicly scheduled and manage on-site training for some of the largest companies and projects around the world. We specialise in providing Nationally Recognised Training and assessment services for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Logistics, Engineering and Electrical industries.

This role has a key focus upon the quality of services delivered and ensuring that the appropriate record keeping, and audit trails are professionally documented and up to date. The compliance office will also ensure and maintain up-to-date knowledge on the VET sector and regulatory requirements by monitoring the RTO's compliance with the VET Quality Framework and communicate and implement changes to regulatory requirements with other key stakeholders i.e. Compliance Manager, Trainers, Delivery Managers, General Manager and other Administration staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor VET compliance functions
- Contribute to monthly Compliance Meetings with all stakeholders
- Monitor quality and compliance processes across all RTO Business Units to ensure best practice in risk and compliance
- Monitor trainer compliance, currency and trainer profiles
- The Compliance team is responsible for the provision of nationally recognised qualifications which meet the needs of staff and business units.
- Attending training programmes for professional-development and continuous improvement
- Participating and conducting internal audits and communication with others and advising according actions
- Maintaining records of compliance practices and continuous Improvement Registers
- Supporting compliant optimum service delivery
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher (Highly regarded).
- Vocational Education and Training industry background
- Understanding of the VET Quality Framework with superior knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and the VET Quality Framework.
- Experience in the preparation and conduct of internal compliance
- Database management
- Previous experience working in a quality assurance/admin role in an RTO environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015.
- Experience in using an RTO student management system (aXcelerate or other similar).
