**About the role**

As the Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient student enrolment processes and building relationships with course advisers and international agents, this is a front-of-house position.

The Admissions Officer is responsible for managing the reception area and providing expert advice, guidance, and support to students and teachers regarding the Institute, service, products, and procedures.

You have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and can establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You have a demonstrable and high-level process and people management skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Admissions**
- Process student enrolments and ensure all suitable documentation is collected for each student. Assessing applicant's GTE in accordance with DHA's requirements.
- Conduct and/or arrange student interviews with applicants, either in person or via Zoom, to assess their eligibility for admission.
- Process Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs) and reports in Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS) in compliance with DHA requirements.
- Process tuition fees and other payments from students including OSHC
- Maintain Student database accurate recording/logging of student issues and diary notes. Process student inquiries regarding change of enrolment, course withdrawals, recognition of prior learning, enrolment documentation, special considerations, etc. in both Student Management System (SMS) and PRISMS.
- Ensure student and agent information (website and other documents) are identified and accurately updated.
- Follow up with Agents, Marketing Department, and Embassies as per regulations and student admission processes. Including support with the development of new marketing opportunities.
- Monitor enrolment pipelines and ensure budgeted student numbers for each course are managed and communicated.
- Finalising students including preparing testamurs and transcripts.
- Assisting with Students' Graduation and Orientation Sessions when required.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures governing Admissions and student enrolments.
- Ensure that all functions undertaken have accurate work instructions and that these are reviewed and updated regularly.
- Attends and contributes to regular team meetings.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Handling telephone enquiries
- Open or Close of campus
- Ensure Classrooms and kitchen are set up, cleaned, and maintained
- Liaise with building Management and coordinate repair and maintenance of facilities
- Providing general office support including but not limited to couriers, catering, and stationery
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all student data, personal, financial, administrative, and course-related records, and other documents
- Adhere to and follow company policies and procedures and advise your manager if your understanding of procedures inhibits you from performing your work duties to a high standard
- Participation in activities for other departments as directed

**Education, Experience, and Skills**
- Experience in a relevant industry and/or have equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience
- Completion of Year 12
- Demonstrated coordination skills, either in customer service and/or education environment
- Understanding of academic services, having worked in an education environment
- Demonstrable organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to ensure successful completion of all responsibilities and tasks
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeracy, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to lead by example
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance
- Innovative thinking and proactive work habits with a demonstrated eye for detail
- IT literacy particularly Microsoft Office environment
