Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry. A multi-award winning, global company, with 5 state of the art facilities worldwide, our product & passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.
We require an enthusiastic, highly efficient individual for a career in Work Health & Safety/Human Resources within a privately owned manufacturing business located at Yatala. Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment, have a pro-active, can-do attitude and a passion for Health and Safety.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Support the WHS Coordinator in implementation, participation, and coordination of WHS compliance
- Updating, developing and delivering training programs
- Assist the WHS Coordinator in internal and external audit requirements
- Support the Human Resource department across all facets of HR
- Recruitment from advertising through to onboarding of new employees
- Updating and maintaining our online learning management system
- General administration duties, and other duties as required
***To be successful you will have**:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels within the organisation
- Previous experience in similar role
- Formal qualification in WHS or HR highly regarded
- Knowledge of HR/WHS regulatory framework
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisation skills
- Experience with online learning management systems
Although not essential previous experience working in a manufacturing environment with qualifications in human resources and/or health and safety would be highly regarded.
