Our Devon Street Road Resource Centre is looking for its next **Technical and Laboratory Manager **. Whilst you will be responsible for leading a team of lab technicians carrying out day to day testing of asphalt both at the plant and in situ the role is also a part of the senior management team responsible for managing over-all quality control, process optimisation between technical and other functions and driving Downers use of modern sustainable asphalt materials. The role would be well suited to someone with an ability to influence and with a high regard for safety, quality and a solution focused attitude

**What you'll bring**
- Extensive experience in construction materials testing (including asphalt)
- Cert IV in Laboratory techniques or equivalent
- Strong leadership capabilities with a drive to inspire your team
- Proven track record for delivering results
- Current General Construction Induction card and Driver's License
- NATA signatory for construction materials laboratory with exposure to NATA audits
- Good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO17025 requirements
- A strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture
