What you'll doDeliver expert Anatomical Pathology services that make a difference by providing timely, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic and consultation services tailored to meet the clinical needs of referrers across Queensland.Play a key role in shaping the future of Anatomical Pathology by helping to design and implement strategic frameworks grounded in global best practices.Supervise and support registrars, fostering their growth and ensuring the highest standards of professional development.About youDemonstrated contemporary knowledge, skills, and ability in Anatomical Pathology, including participation in the frozen section service, MDTs, and the ability to participate in after-hours on-call roster; a high level of professionalism, especially objectivity, is required.Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and communication skills necessary for all aspects of the position.Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis, and management.Knowledge of ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements, demonstrating continued accreditation in your clinical specialty across a diverse network of laboratories.Qualifications, registrations, and other requirementsA medical qualification and tertiary qualification in Anatomical Pathology (FRCPA or equivalent), and registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Specialist Pathologist.Fellows of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent.All applicants are encouraged to advise the panel of any support or reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.Please review the role description for further information and details on how to apply.Why Pathology QueenslandPathology Queensland (PQ) is a leading provider of diagnostic and laboratory services with 35 laboratories across Queensland.
