(L27) includes a salary between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a.
(L25-L27) and benefits such as employer super contribution (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave (3.6 weeks p.a.), professional indemnity cover, plus overtime and on-call allowances.
The role: Mackay Hospital and Health Service - Mackay is a vibrant regional centre in tropical North Queensland.
The Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Region has a thriving economy including tourism, agriculture, industry, mining, education, and health sectors.
The Medical Imaging Department at Mackay Base Hospital offers services such as General Radiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Intervention, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Theatre II.
The service includes remote rural reporting for MHHS rural sites, including CT services at Proserpine and Bowen.
The Cardiac Services Department provides comprehensive interventional, non-interventional, and pacing services for the Mackay region.
This role involves: Providing high-quality clinical services within the Unit/Department.
Educating radiology registrars, medical staff, students, allied health professionals, and community groups or nursing staff.
Participating in patient safety initiatives, audits, research, and service planning activities.
