The position requires the provision of clinical supervision and support, as appropriate, to Senior Medical Officers, Registrars and Junior Medical Officers working within the Redland Hospital.

Our Anaesthetics Department in Redland Hospital, Cleveland is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Staff Specialists - anaesthetics for future permanent/temporary full time and part time opportunities over the next 6 months. The Staff Specialist - Anaesthetics in Anaesthetics Department delivers safe compassionate clinical care; working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes.

About the Role
- Understand and role model behaviour consistent with the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service. That is, perform all duties with integrity and impartiality, whilst promoting the public good, having commitment to the system of government, and with accountability and transparency.
- Know and drive compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, as described by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare.
- Follow defined service quality standards, Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Perform duties as determined by the Service.
