When you start your new role, you will be responsible for the management of safety policy execution and risk assessment across the organisation.
- Work with managers and employees to minimise risks in various facilities
- Ensure policy compliance and documentation is correctly completed
- Identify WHS training gaps and arrange appropriate / provide training
- Employee injury management including return to work
- Workers compensation claims case management
- Stay abreast of legislation and technology related to areas of responsibility
- Engage with service providers to reduce cost and compliance impact
- Administrative & computer work using MS Office and WHS specific software
- Ensure manuals and MSDS documentation is maintained and up to date.

Your KPI's will relate to minimisation of incidences and claims along with premium levels. This will be assessed during regular monthly catch up.
- Strong and balanced interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels internally and externally
- A communicative personality to engage with management, employees and suppliers to achieve positive outcomes
- Commercial aptitude to balance compliance with the practicalities of smooth and effective operations of the business.
- Capable of assessing risk and developing collaborative solutions with line managers
- Understand how to engage with insurance companies and present a strong case on behalf of the company
- Ability to work with a down to earth team culture that respects commitment to the job.
