Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering work packages in line with project and business objectives.

The primary focus of this role is to coordinate between all Primary design, test and manufacture functions to produce a robust and reliable electrical design and engineering package, associated engineering drawings, hardware delivery, and manage site installation, cabling and commissioning works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the delivery of project scope to safety, quality, performance and schedule requirements.

  • Responsible for the preparation of offers and project management delivery of all project related primary and auxiliary electrical systems regarding schedule, cost, quality and safety.
  • Technical management of the transmission equipment offer / order processing team as well as close coordination with project management, project leads and experts from the fields of study preparation, software, and hardware engineering as well as test planning and implementation.

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or comparable with a standard duration of > 5 years.
  • Some post-graduate professional experience as well as experience in project management.
  • Technically knowledgeable and experienced in the areas of high voltage transmission equipment and auxiliary systems.
  • Extensive knowledge in dealing with MS Office applications and PM tools.
  • Business fluent communication in English.
  • Intercultural experience is ideal as well as willingness to go on business trips locally and internationally (customer clarification, Installation Supervision and Commissioning activities).
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland RPEQ or Registered Professional Engineers of Victoria (RPEV) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) is a must.
  • National Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng) registered at the National Engineering Register in Australia Is a must.
  • Proven ability to work on complex technical projects as well as leading multidisciplinary and culturally varied teams in international projects as a project manager.
  • Working rights for Australia or unlimited Permanent Residency, Driving License in Australia.
