ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, partnering with major companies throughout the oil and gas, mining and construction, and defence sectors. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Business Partner.

**The Position**

Based in our Brisbane office (Cannon Hill), you will work closely with the Senior Commercial Business Partner to provide sound commercial support to the Offshore Remote sector of the business. This involves end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews, and financial analysis of portfolios. This is an opportunity to play a key role in consistently delivering and exceeding our client expectations.
- Accurate & timely month end closing processes
- Partnering with key internals stakeholders to enhance financial performance
- Preparation of detailed Budgets and Forecasts
- Contract Compliance: Preparation of price escalations and contract variations
- Actual versus project performance reviews against contracts
- Assisting with bid modelling and projects retention
- Identifying and implementing streamlined processes

**The Person**
- Accounting degree qualified
- Previous commercial accounting experience
- Sound technical and analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in ORACLE is also advantageous
- Experience in financial modelling and commercial reviews
- Studying toward CA / CPA also desirable
