- Salary Level HEW 7 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
- Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working

About You
You're a problem solver with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. With strong interpersonal skills, you thrive on engaging with stakeholders to resolve complex employee lifecycle queries. Your ability to analyze issues, collaborate with specialized teams, and provide clear, timely updates is key to your success. You're proactive, supportive, and comfortable coaching others, especially when it comes to managing escalations and enhancing the team's service mindset. If you're ready to bring your strong communication and advisory skills to a dynamic People team, we'd love to hear from you

To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:

- Demonstrated Human Resource Generalist experience as a trusted advisor
- A strong customer centric mindset.
- Solution focused with attention to detail
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and written communication and negotiation skills within a complex organisational environment.
- Proven ability in fostering positive customer relationships and displaying a customer-centric approach in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for fostering trust across a diverse range of stakeholders and ability to actively listen and empathize with Employees, People Leaders, Managers and stakeholder concerns.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing reliable and accurate information and a history of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Desirable but not essential to have experience with HR Enquiry Management Systems such as ServiceNow, SAP, Workday and various communication tools

The People function operates in a manner that supports the RMIT values and achievement of the business objectives. By providing tailored, quality human resources services and products and ensuring a high level of expert support and advice, the People function enhances the ability of Colleges, Portfolios and Groups to meet their business objectives. This, in turn, enables University staff to better support the current and future student population at the University.
