EVENT MARKETING MANAGER

We're looking for an Event Marketing Manager to ensure that the brand and all event marketing campaigns are successfully represented and delivered right through to the last day of each event.

SUPERCARS:
The Repco Supercars Championship is the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of the most watched and attended sports in the country. The sport is evolving and is now globally recognised as the best touring car category in the world and a leader in motorsport entertainment.

YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the brand and all event marketing campaigns are successfully represented and delivered right through to the last day of each event.

REPORTING OF THE ROLE:
This role reports to the General Manager - Marketing

KEY STAKEHOLDERS:
Internal
- General Manager, Marketing
- Brand & Campaign Manager
- Events and Partnerships Team

External
- Government and Tourism bodies associated with Supercars events
- Media partners

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Management
- Event website content creation
- Event Facebook page content creation, monitoring and customer service role
- Ticketek content management - website, eDMs (in collaboration with Sydney marketing team)
- At track comms including big screen, concerts and fan engagement
- eDM content development for events, Students on Track and Supercars Membership

Fan Engagement Activations/Promotions/Deliverables
- Development and creation of local area promotions, competitions and fan engagement activations in each market to promote the event and Supercars brand
- Building key relationships in the event markets to drive value and exposure for the event
- Budget management
- Managing Supercars marketing commitments and deliverables for Government including:

- Marketing Plans
- Exit Reports
- Ancillaries Activities Plans
- Marketing contract deliverables
- Surveys
- Budget management

Management of Supercars Initiatives
- Supercars Membership (Comms/fulfillment and members tours at track).
- Students on Track including all comms in the lead up to each event, student workbooks, management of school groups on ground at events.
- Management of the event charity partners
- Supercars Program Management (editorial/proofing/promotion/commercial deliverables)

KEY REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS):

- Marketing qualifications to degree level preferred. Industry experience preferable
- Detail oriented, organised with good time management
- Ability to build strong relationships
- A team player who can motivate and enthuse others
- Efficient in Microsoft Office (specifically, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Experienced in Photoshop, HTML and using a Content Management System - Proficient in using online tools for website reporting
- Experience managing people
