**Area Manager - Victoria**
**Due to exciting current and planned expansion across the home state of Daniel Francis Murphy, a brand new Area Manager role has been created to lead our stores in the outer eastern and south easten suburbs of Melbourne and regional - Gippsland**
**As an Area Manager for Dan Murphy's, you will lead and inspire our store leaders and teams to deliver upon all elements of the Dan Murphy's strategy. People are at the forefront of our business, and your exceptional leadership, financial acumen, and guidance will develop those around you, fostering team engagement and advocacy and inspiring ways to evolve and improve.**
**What you'll do**
In this role, you will be responsible for leading 18 stores, comprising 18 store leaders, 36 assistant store leaders and approx 320 team members across the Area group.
At Dan Murphy's our 'business as usual' is continually evolving and in this role, you'll be at the forefront, leading the way and working with our Store Leaders to deliver excellence. You're the kind of person who acts as a true leader in living our values and ways of working - we keep things simple, especially for our store teams, to ensure we can focus on what's important - our customers.
- **Lead and Inspire your team**:
- **Pro-actively contribute to the delivery of the Dan's retail strategy through leading your teams to bring the strategy to life in store**:
- **Communicate and build team commitment to business strategies creating alignment, direction and role clarity, and achievement of Area safety, customer, financial, operational and strategic goals and objectives**:
- **Lead the delivery on key projects / trials for the State**:
- **Analyse key metrics, including customer and team feedback, and provide guidance and coaching for each store to act on and achieve Area and state goals**:
- **Lead Dan's transformation and change agenda while maintaining focus on business performance**:
- **Develop talent pipelines and future leaders by providing regular feedback to your team, creating meaningful development plan and ensuring succession and ongoing capability is maintained**
