
Settlements Analyst

**The Opportunity**:
Our team is growing Excellent opportunity for a Settlements Analyst to join our Finance Operations team within our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business. GEMS is the fully integrated trading arm of ENGIE Group and the Settlements Analyst will provide support by assisting in the timely and accurate settlement of spot market and financial derivative transactions. This includes maintaining contract documentation, administering contracts and producing revenue reports.
The role can be worked flexibly from home and our Southbank office.
Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform contract and spot market settlements
- Ensure the correct revenue entitlement is received
- Payment and receipt of spot and contract trading settlement amounts using the Austraclear apparatus, independent of the financial accounts functions
- Negotiate with counterparties and AEMO regarding settlement disputes or queries
- Understand the AEMO metering and settlements processes to ensure compliance with
metrology procedures and standards
- Create or confirm derivative trade confirmations, ensuring accuracy with deal ticket and
ISDA conditions
**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have sound experience working in a similar role, preferable within complex multinational organisations within the energy sector. You will be able to manage complexity to solve problems and can challenge the status quo for the benefit of the team and organisation.
You have a collaborative approach and can build and maintain positive work relationships whilst driving results,
