The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst within the Retirement Assets team, offering a permanent full-time role that provides flexibility to work at the office and remotely at home (2x office, 3x WFH). The role will focus on settlement function. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate recording of village management and development settlements and financial transactions for the Retirement Living asset portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Retirement Assets, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Settlement processing - settlement calculations, confirm all settlement financial matters in our Legal Online system, general correspondence with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to contracts administrators, conveyancers, sales managers, upgrade teams and within the Settlements team.- Settlement journals processing.- BAS reviews.- Balance sheet reconciliations.- Liaise and provide support to our Internal Legal team, Village Managers, Regional Finance and Shared Services.- Exercises independent judgement within defined parameters. Identify solutions to issues that are generally defined (but not always immediately evident) and require problem-solving.- Stakeholders will be Village Managers and law firm contacts.- You will be supporting a geographic region.

About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications.- At least 3 years' experience in contract administration, financial reporting, financial planning & analytics, or a related field.- Fundamental knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting.- Ability to build cooperative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders- Strong analytical and communication skills.- Ability to interpret financial information.

Nice to Have:
- Used Finance systems such as D365 and an Online Legal Conveyancing system- Experience in Property industry.
