your responsibilities will include:Providing operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective managementCoordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence basedEnsuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environmentProviding guidance, mentoring and support to your teamBe accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resourcesUndertaking direct patient care, as requiredCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsEssential Criteria:Current Registration with AHPRARegistered Nurse with at least 5 years' experience in inpatient mental health settings Knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS StandardsUnderstanding of HoNOSProven experience building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approachDemonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholdersDemonstrate a good knowledge base in labour managementUnderstand the requirements of private health fundingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused careHigh degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data basesAbility to work cohesively within a team environment
