We are looking to hire a Beauty Therapist who is passionate about professional face and body skincare, keen to learn, and loves encouraging clients to achieve and maintain results This is a part-time or casual position.

This role will be responsible for:

- Manage overall operations of the beauty salon
- advising clients on suitable treatments, answering all beauty-related questions, and
- Perform all beauty treatment requirements of customers
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Ensure merchandise is well presented to enhance the Salon's image and increase sales
- Sell beauty products and services to customers and advise on product use
- Select, train and supervise the staff
- Promoting loyalty cards, gift vouchers and beauty products
- Ensure the salon premises, fixtures and fittings are cleaned and well maintained
- Manage cash handling and reconciliation
- Access and check the quality of service, particularly threading performed by staff
- Ensure salon performs to meet the weekly budget
- Ensure stock levels & maintain inventory
- Assist in rostering staff
- Attend and hold meetings when required
- Maintain social media updates and advertising on a regular basic
- Cross-sell beauty products and additional treatments, when appropriate (knowledge in our award-winning Medik8, Mesoestetic and Payot products is highly regarded)

Ultimately, you will increase client satisfaction and boost our reputation by providing professional beauty services.

Selection Criteria:

- Minimum 2 years experience as a Salon Manager
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Management or equivalent (additionally, Laser Certificate would be highly regarded)
- Previous practical experience with massages, hair removal techniques, and face therapies
- A professional with a customer-centric focused approach
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
- Previous experience tracking budget expenses n ability to train new staff
- Up-to-date with industry changes n cosmetic trends and makeup products
- Ability to work autonomously as well as with team.

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour
