**About the Role**
On a daily basis you will:
- Develop and deliver Council's school holiday program to support sporting and community organisations by encouraging primary school aged children to be physically active;
- Develop and deliver recreation programs, services and events that align with Council's overall approach to recreation, community, cultural and economic development;
- Manage the relationships between Council and community stakeholders and partners in relation to the provision of recreation programs, services and events;
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of Council's management and strategic planning documents in relation to the provision of recreation programs, services and events;
- Contribute to the preparation and management of the budget for recreation facilities and programs in accordance with Council's annual budget development and reporting cycle; and
- Develop and implement strategies for marketing and promoting of recreation programs, services and events.
**About You**
- Experience planning, organising and delivering recreation programs, services and events;
- Well-developed skills in marketing and promotion of recreation programs, services and events;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and within a team, displaying appropriate judgement, flexibility, organisational awareness, problem solving and decision making skills;
- Demonstrated capacity to prepare high quality reports and correspondence;
- Demonstrated financial management skills;
- Highly developed understanding of risk management relating to program, service and project delivery;
- Knowledge of sport, recreation and community organisations;
- Demonstrated ability to manage community expectations and relationships; and
- Relevant degree qualification or other relevant tertiary qualification and substantive relevant experience.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $93,186.96 to $102,266.16 (salary + super).
