Wood is recruiting an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane.
This is a 10-month contract with the opportunity to provide technical support in electrical, instrumentation and control engineering in the brownfields and refining facilities.
Reporting to the E&I Engineering Superintendent, this role will use fault finding expertise to assist in returning the equipment to service and to apply appropriate measures to prevent or reduce the potential for fault re-occurrence and be responsible for completing electrical and instrumentation design work for selected projects.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA to work in this region.

This is a 10-month contract with the opportunity to provide technical support in electrical, instrumentation and control engineering in the brownfields and refining facilities.Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical Systems.
Registered Professional Engineer QLD (RPEQ) or eligible to be charteredTUV Functional Safety certification Dual trade (Instrumentation or Control Systems), desirable10 to 15 years Oil Industry experience as E&I Engineer with demonstrated experience in a Supervisory capacityEnterprise Resource Programs and Maintenance applications experience Sound knowledge of EH&S requirements in the Oil & Gas Industry.
