Job Title

We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Expert to lead complex projects in the battery minerals and plant optimisation sectors.

  • This role involves developing project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • The ideal candidate will conduct site investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects involving electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports and technical specifications.
  • Conduct site investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Expertise in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English for regular client interaction.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems, including proficiency in electrical system calculations.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing sector.
  • Registered/Chartered Engineer status, with RPEQ preferable.
  • Knowledge of control systems design.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary consultancy setting.
